Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Indi V — 24 Aug 2010
It's not bad. Actually the cinematography is breathtakingly brilliant. The pacing could use some help because the most exciting moments in the movie are lion attacks. Performancewise Streep is good, but Brandauer feels like he should be in it more.
For a 2 3/4 hour film, he's not in all that much. Overall, worth watching, but don't be surprised if your mind starts to wander while watching it.
