Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Virginie M — 13 Jul 2008
There's no doubt, it's a classic.
It's impressive to see how this woman's character can have been created in the eighties. It's not really a story in the strict sense of the word, may be more a portrait of a woman which becomes a model of feminism - without considering herself like that.
Music is great and Pollack offers us a little trip in Africa, wonderful landscapes, a treat for the eyes.
