Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Diane J — 01 Jan 2009
I won't bother summing this one up. Basically some rich woman goes to Africa to marry a man she doesn't love, fall in love with a guy who can't commit and ends up losing all of her money because God hates her.
I'm not a huge fan of watching rich people be rich, it's kinda dull. Meryl Streep acts (as always), Robert Redford plays himself (as always) and they do this all in a beautiful environment. It's a visually beautiful movie that I found dull and constantly prayed that it would end after sitting through an hour and forty-five minutes.
