Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Mark M — 28 Apr 2011
Para ver tranquilamente y disfrutar.......Tremendously popular movie and that constituted an authentic bomb explosion of public and of critique beside taking 7 to him oscars (included better movie).
Wonderful movie of adventures and romanticism in Africa with David Watkin's exceptional photography and a not less exceptional sonorous band of John Barry (that year I bet for the magnificent BSO of ennio Morricone's mission).
It tells the history of a of human feelings counted very delicately. So much that some of them think that it is a soft movie. But it is not like that, speaks itself of loneliness, of love, of courage, of fears, of diseases, of social situation, of colonialism, etc.
. Good interpretations of the principal actors. I remain with Brandauer's interpretation, as the cynical adulterous husband besides transmitter of venereal diseases. The air scenes of the better thing.
Independence or commitment?, in the bottom it is of what treats. To see calmly and to enjoy.
