Review of Out of Africa (1985) by Jean G — 03 Mar 2012
Due to it's pacing it is best watched in a theater setting where you are forced to give in to the stark reality of the life of a woman, basically marooned by her inattentive husband in the middle of a beautiful but lonely country.
Or if you are attentionally deprived watch it in pieces for the amazing scenery and the magic of Meryl Streep and Robert Redford's performances.
