It's generally very hard for me to be put off by the pacing of a film but I found this one quite hard to engage with. It was beautifully filmed and reasonably well written and acted but I found it missing someting aside from the attempts to create a complex romance plot.
I did enjoy it very much but I didn't find it to be as much of a classic as the awards would suggest.
