First and fore most, let me just say...I am a film snob. I don't think much of average hollywood shlock and I think most of these 'extreme' films pandering to 13 year old boys are a bne upon my existence as a movie goer and wish the studios wouldn't subject us to or waste their money on this crap.
With that said...Out Cold fucking rules! And for reason and one reason alone: ZACK GALFIANAKIS!
His deadan 'I dont care I'm just a stupid drunk' character is simply amazing. Like I said, I usually hate these types of films. But occassionally something or somebody comes along which transcends the genre or film all together.
I'll even admit that the dialouge is for the most part weak, card board, and seems to only be meant to move the story along from one stunt/crazy stupid but hilarious scene to another.
So I know why this film should suck, but I refuse to ignore its charms.
