Review of Our Little Sister (2015) by Aïko G — 04 Oct 2016
Our Little Sister is a special sort of movie. On one hand, nothing much happens here, but on the other we see deep emotions and relationship building throughout this movie. We see three sisters who live together in an old house, when their father dies they find out they have a 4th half sister who their dad raised on his own.
The girl moves into the old house and together they just try to live normal lives, but some underlying difficult family matters make building these new relationships a little harder. Looking back at the entire movie the thing that stood out most for me is the chemistry between the four sisters and the simple daily lives in their home.
A lot of credit goes out to the actresses. But overall there are a lot of boring parts in Our Little Sister and I had to fight the urge to stop the movie before the end.
