Review of Our Idiot Brother (2011) by Jesse O — 12 Jan 2012

Not exactly the best or funniest movie I've ever seen, but I thought this was a pretty solid movie overall. I think the problem just lies in the movie's inconsistencies and it just doesn't flow all that well together.

It jumps back and forth between Ned's interactions with his sisters and it just doesn't mesh as well as it should. But the cast is good and they help make up for the weaknesses. I think there's a good idea here of having the sisters eventually own up to their own faults and mistakes instead of blaming Ned for everything.

But yea, it certainly could've been a better movie, but I enjoyed my time with it.
