Review of Our Idiot Brother (2011) by Shane D — 30 Mar 2012

Paul Rudd is quite possibly the most charming actor in Hollywood. It's literally impossible to dislike him in almost everything he does. There is a twinkle in his eye. Once again he performs admirably here in a film that delivers on cute but definitely lacks with any kind of anything else.

With such an amazing supporting cast, its any wonder why the standout scenes come at the hands of Rudd's interplay with an unknown stoner. Still, one shouldn't complain, this film is perfectly watchable.

..it's just you can't help but feel like if it had've had just a little bit more pathos, it could have been a whimsical masterpiece.
