Our Idiot Brother goes into the lovable-but-forgettable category. It's hard to say that it's not enjoyable to watch. The actors are good and their good natured performances translate to the audience's feelings, but it's still not enough somehow.

By the end, Our Idiot Brother feels aimless and needless. I wonder why someone made it and what they were trying to do exactly. For all it's chuckles and affability, it just doesn't add up to much.
