Review of Our Idiot Brother (2011) by Alex P — 30 Mar 2013
The main reason I rated this movie so high is due to my preference of Paul Rudd's likable personality. Still, the movie seemed to over depend on Paul Rudd ability to act his way out of anything in his trade mark naive portrayal of the lovable Ned.
The movie is enjoyable due to the story's ability to depict Ned's often careless unleashing of the his family's pandora's box, all the while exposing a harsh realty that has secretly been living in a blissful ignorance among their shoulders.
Over all, the movie manages to mould a confusing screen play into a flowing and organized story structure that is every bit enjoyable to watch from it's humor to it's movie defining message.
