Despite great characters and amusing moments, Our Idiot Brother replaces conflict with light awkward tension leaving the story bland. The result is a film without any real convictions, which in the end hurts the magnitude of the humor.
If the cast had been any less talented this film could have easily landed in the realm of terrible, but as it stands you're bound to crack a smile watching the loveable antics Our Idiot Brother has to offer.
