Paul Rudd tends to do better in ensemble pictures than he does carrying a film by himself. "Our Idiot Brother" follows a slacker as he is released from prison and he tries to get his life in order.

This is one of those films that's supposed to make you feel good, but this one just seemed to depress me. The acting is pretty good, but it was definitely overhyped for me. Paul Rudd did a good enough job making his character lovably dumb, but the film around him is just dull and it tries to balance too many characters which ultimately falls flat.

I wish this was better, but as it stands, it was okay to see once.
