Our Idiot Brother oozes Aroma Therapy, Chi Tea, and Hippies- the by-gone sludge, LSD-infested, Purple Haze bong-water of the 1960's the same as Ned. Shenanigans of a low-grade Lebowski, a half-wit 'Dude', enlightens each and every slobbering, self-righteous character and wafts past like cool swirls on the cover of a Strawberry Alarm Clock LP. Omar asks if he is "retarded", he needs to ask about being "burnt-out", "currently stoned", or even "groovy". Rats! Ned is not an idiot just a Whole-Foods organic composting, banana peel smoking dufass just determined enough to get by.
Happy faces and bunnies arrive in 1 hour 13 minutes- mental endurance training, mind-over-matter, and Idiot cracks a smile and runs out of steam. Willie Nelson tunes. Gone. Rainbows over nausea and just a little less unlike Lebowski, Idiot ends in hearts and tinkerbells. It's watchable. Don't watch it stoned, or drunk or sleepy or happy or sad but cleaning the house on a Saturday.
