Review of Our Hospitality (1923) by Joshua S — 28 Jul 2006
The setup is very simple and the film is anchored around two outstanding sequences. The first sees gags and visual treats a-plenty on a cross country journey on a recreation of Stevenson's 'Rocket.
The second is the requisite chase sequence which ends with one of the most impressive stunts I've ever seen. It could do with a little trim here and there, but the sheer bravado of the set-pieces and Keaton's impressive performance more than make up for that.
