Is this sort of industrialisation a good thing? A bad thing? Geyrhalter remains as neutral on the subject as his camera stays front-on and fond of symmetries... I'd imagine if you were a commercial farmer, for whom this sort of thing is all in a day's work, very little of "Our Daily Bread" would make you bat an eyelid.
For cloistered, cosmopolitan city-dwellers and carefree consumers alike, though, there's a certain amount of food for thought here.
