Review of Our Blushing Brides (1930) by Samuel C — 12 May 2009
Our Blushing Brides is a really wonderful pre-code movie. There were a lot of movies like this at the time, with three single women living together and dealing with their dramatic issues. This one isn't as good as my favorite, Beauty for Sale, but it's still one of the most essential pre-code films, with excellent performances from Joan Crawford and Anita Page.
Poor Anita Page. :(.
