Review of Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016) by Evil Lemon 6 — 23 Oct 2016
Not the strongest period set horror but comes close in terms of modern horror. Strong performances, excellent production, sound design is spot on, plenty of scares, the tension is ratcheted up nicely and even though it indulges in some of the cliches of the horror genre it avoids others.
Not even seen the first (reviews and the trailer put me off) but this was a solid surprise.
