Review of Ouija (2014) by Lisa Y — 25 Oct 2014

This movie is full of the horror film cliches that we all like to enjoy once in a while. Is it scary? Does it shock and do what a REAL horror film does? No, not necessarily. It was incredibly predictable (literally I knew who was going to die/live); very disappointing. The entire story actually, especially the ending, reminded me of One Missed Call (English version)/ Chakushin Ari (Japanese version) And of course, the main character HAS to do all the stupid things and make the absolute worst decisions (why she never felt really, truly guilty about the events scares me the most lol).

But the makeup department on the film did a pretty good job of making the scary characters look scary....but deep down, #Bmovie.
