Review of Ouija (2014) by Will K — 25 Oct 2014
We've reached the bottom of the Horror barrel as if they haven't all sucked this month. At just over 1 hour and 20 mins, "Ouija" may possibly one of the most clichéd, dull, and boring Horror messes in a long time.
After the dreadful "Annabelle", I wanted to go into this with an open mind and that didn't even help. Aside from the great Olivia Cooke, "Ouija" is a typical by-the-books "PG-13" Horror film with an obvious twist and a sh*t ton of lame jump scares.
Nothing original just another excuse to cash in on Halloween. A dragged out opening scene and nothing even minutely interesting. If you want a good Horror film to watch, check out the new remake of "The Town That Dreaded Sundown", "V/H/S: Viral" or "The ABC's of Death 2".
This officially marks the death of mainstream Horror.
