Review of Ouija (2014) by Yadi Q — 31 Oct 2014

I got more laughs than "scares" out of this advertisement of a film for a board game. I will say that this is not offensively bad but this is the worst horror film of the year. The acting is choppy, extremely uneven in fact with ridiculous dialogue and the only decent performance coming from Olivia Cooke the star of the movie.

The writing lacks anything fresh or tense and relies on countless jump scares and "don't look behind you" moments. The characters were incredibly stupid and made cliche, rehashed mistakes and dumb decisions.

OUIJA wouldn't even scare ten year olds and surely wont leave any chills in an older audience, as it is simply forgettable and a throwaway.
