After the semi-success of Battleship, Hasboro continued its vision with Ouija. All in all, its a decent horror flick. Did it add something new to the genre? No. Will it rekindle and fire up sales to ouija boards? Maybe.
The movie in a way feels like a long advertisement with a storyline to make its product seem like forbidden fruit. The plot however is a standard supernatural mystery with a pseudo plot twist. I guess if sales churn good numbers next we will see Monopoly and Candy Land the movies.
