[color=#000000][font=Times New Roman][size=4] This is the second independent, direct to home horror film that has surprised me this year. Meant as simultaneous homage and spoof of horror films, especially of the torture porn sexploitation kind, it hits its mark on both counts. It achieves this by giving us characters that are funny and disturbing at the same time. The characters are played very well by the actors. Special recognition goes to Bostin Christopher in the title role as well as the entire Lawson family. The SFX and the soundtrack both add to the enjoyment and entertainment value of the film. Horror fans should really enjoy this tongue in cheek look at the genre.[/size][/font][/color].
