When you tell people the title of this movie they go "Huh?" Yep, nobody went to see this film due to bad marketing. But then, how do you market a film like this? The biggest problem with this film is the amount of bodily humour used in this film like the snot dam, the close up on the zit popping and the whole plot where Frank is given a restraining order against a teacher ALL BECAUSE HE PUKED ON HER!!! To add insult to injury, we're given a nauseating close up on the headline showing Frank puking on her. It's really not the type of film you'd watch whilst eating snacks.

Even for a "family" film, this film goes too far. This film almost got a PG-13. When Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper reviewed this film, Roger liked it saying it was creative, the stomach is the airport, the brain is City Hall, the blood stream is the motorway, etc and Richard disliked it saying it was disgusting. Both of their opinions are right.

The animation is good and it is creative. When you look beyond the gross out humour, some bits are actually funny and make you go "Oh, that was clever.".

Laurence Fishburne is brilliant as Thrax. It sounds nothing like him. He knew exactally how this character needed to sound. Thrax is my favourite character in the film. Even if you don't like this film, you have to admit Thrax is cool.

Bill Murray is also great as the lazy slob Frank who doesn't lift a finger to do exercise.

A massive flop on release, but it has found it's audience on DVD and TV.
