Review of Oslo, August 31st (2011) by Carlos A — 03 Sep 2011
Great actors, using Oslo as a backdrop and at-times wonderful dialogue does not save Oslo, 31. August from being unforfilled, unoriginal and too pretentious. It lacks character depth and motivation, is embarrassingly politically correct and ultimately does not add anything to its clichè premise.
Yes, harsh words spoken by a cynic - but considering the hype this movie was a let-down.
