It could have been a nice story (despite the abused classic trope).
But following the desire of beefing up the twist, it builds up a premise that, in retrospect, it's hard to believe or accept.
Unless the entire world around this little girl is as dumb as the writers believe us to be.
Vera Farmiga is good as always, anyway.
