I think the director has had a horrific childhood with an "Orphan" inside his famiy. Perhaps his "Orphan" was a brilliant child with lots of abilities in art and knowledge that attracted all parent's considerations .

I am so sorry for his so called "Art" and his weak thoughts about film industry. He directed the movie without any considerations about it consequences in some families which have adopt an orphan.
