Review of Original Sin (2001) by Brian R — 12 Mar 2010
I think the reason why a lot of people turned this down was the amount of sex and nudity involved and it is only one scene and a small scene that isn't quite long but Original Sin is a good film to see.
Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie are both good, the film is beautiful to look at thanks to cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto. The story goes through a series of flashback as the Angelina Jolie character is locked in a cell waiting to be executed, she tells her story to a priest. In the flashback she was once married to a wealthy Cuban Business named Luis Vargas(Antonio Banderas) Luis Vargas wanted to marry an American because to him, they represented the future and his people represented the past. He meets Julia Russell and it's love at first sight(kinda) Later on they become happily married and you can see that Luis is madly in love with Julia but what Luis doesn't know is that Julia is holding her own personal secrets.
Julia's sister is persitantly writiing to her to find out.
