Review of Origin: Spirits of the Past (2006) by Arin D — 24 Oct 2010
A nice anime in the vein of Hayao Miyazaki. Picked up in the second half, especially as the vague ecological disaster (much better done in Nausicaa..), mad scientist's weapon of doom, etc. cliches coalesced.
The artwork isn't bad, and the English voice dubbing is good enough. Worth a look.
