When you remind yourself that this is from 1980, you immediately realize how many other films have simply ROBBED from it: Good Will Hunting, and a lot of independent features have "borrowed" the family dynamic.
Mary Tyler-Moore is unforgettable, and the whole film feels incredibly personal. A gripping movie.
