Absolutely amazing. Anyone with a heart who has not seen this must! the cast was superb, all of them delivering believable performances. mary tyler moore as the mother... just the depth of the character.

I can't fathom what she must have tapped into to play such a heartless witch. donald was equally impressive... but timothy hutton was the star, I agree. his best performance of his life. I only wish he could have done better in later years.
