Review of Ordinary People (1980) by Danny K — 24 Jul 2008
Slow moving at first with many unecessary flashbacks, this movie picks up the pace towards the middle of the second act, and it's worth the wait. As for the carthartic third act...ladies I hope you put on the waterproof mascerra for this one.
My only other problem is Moore's character arc...there is none. She's too easy to hate. They just don't make 'em like this any more.
