Review of Ordinary People (1980) by Alison P — 29 Sep 2008
There were lots of films like this in the 90s (like The Ice Storm perhaps?), but there is something a little special about this earlier film. I thought the story was engaging enough, especially the parts where the son is speaking with his therapist.
Not a brilliant look at a nuclear family undergoing reconstruction, but a worthwhile visit nonetheless.
