Review of Oppenheimer (2023) by Joshybean — 21 Jul 2023
At first I felt a bit conflicted, but I think this is the first movie in a long time where I feel that the length was genuinely earned. As the movie went on it became better and better. Its a Nolan film and with that means that nothing in this movie is going to be simple and the immediate launch into the different timelines of Oppenheimers life I imagine was a lot for much of the audience.
However once we reached the middle it all became so clear. As the movie goes on I just felt everything clicking into place and the more I watched the more entertained I was. It's a great film and if anyone is on the fence about seeing it or maybe walked out early on because they did not fully grasp everything happening.
I beg you to watch it in its entirety and you will not regret it.
