Review of Operation Finale (2018) by Receptioner — 30 Aug 2018

Operation Finale is a highly effective spy thriller that focuses more on procedural matters than action-- ie how the capture of Eichmann occurred, including a look inside the team who accomplished it. It presents the issue of the banality of evil, but also includes real-world information about Eichmann that Hannah Arendt overlooked when she made her case.

The story is fully engaging and more thoughtful than crowd pleasers like Mission Impossible. I do not understand all the negative reviews, unless they are motivated by animus against the topic.
