Review of Operation: Endgame (2010) by John L — 19 Feb 2011
"Office Space" gone postal is the best way to describe this satirical action comedy. I honestly believe this film was dreamt up as a way to pull off "Ten Little Indians" in an office. When paper shredders and 5-gallon water jugs are used as weapons of interoffice destruction, you know it'll be a hell of a ride you want to top your drink off with.
Unfortunately, that is where this movie's charm ends. The action comes in much to slow, and the last ten minutes are a predicable bore. And as much as I love a good political thriller, can we get off on the Bush bashing train, please? It's been two frickin' years. As much as I enjoyed this movie for it's clever portrayal of inter-office politics gone bad, it's anti-Christian and anti-Republican is simply more Hollywood tripe I won't be watching again.
