Review of Operation Avalanche (2016) by Foxxpix P — 01 Oct 2016
A bit sloppy here and there, but addresses all the anti-moon-hoax arguments in a humourous way. Nonetheless it's an interesting thriller. Would it need to be a big conspiracy? What would Stanley Kubrick have to do with it? They even merges old and new footage a la Forest Gump! Heck, it's just as truthful. LOL! The ending is Superb. It's right up there with Rashomon (On the question of "what is truth" no less!!) It'd be 5 stars if they could have just edited the script one more time. The sloppiness only lasts for about a minute a couple of times. Cringe-worthy, but if you can get past it, and you can think for yourself, you'll be okay with it. So let's call it 5 stars for philosophers and film buffs, but 3 stars for people like the guy who runs "Bad Astronomy".
It's one of those root for the bad guys movies in a sense. Very Japanese Cinema like that way. Not quite up their with Ash in Army of Darkness, but come on, it's just a movie. I liked it.
