Review of Opening Night (1977) by Enrico C — 24 Aug 2008
Gene Rowlands in another masterpiece by Cassavetes. An actress haunted by a fan she saw dying, tries to manage a role that she seems not to understand. Cassavetes follows his carachters and their evolution towards an ending to remember: Gena on stage totally drunk giving the public an incredible performance.
