Review of Open Water (2004) by Lizzie W — 10 Jan 2011

Presented in a non flashy almost documentary like style. I think it's really a film that will divide audiences, many will say it's tedious and not much really happens. Others will pick up on the ever building tension that overshadows the couples situation as they spend longer and longer out at sea.

As for me I quite enjoyed it, and can't help but give the film a little bit of credibility for the fact that (although there may be some questions surrounding the accuracy of the individual events in the film) we do know this actually happened to two unfortunate tourists.
