Review of Open Water (2004) by El Z — 27 Jul 2012
Lousy photography did not bring us (the audience) into the wide "open water". Too many medium shots of the characters and not enough wide and extreme wide shots to give the viewer the feeling of being lost in the middle of the ocean, which is what this film is all about.
This film could have been much better with a more talented crew.
