Review of Open Water (2004) by Joe H — 10 Jul 2011
Solid low-budget feature that manages to use it's limited budget to it's advantages. The film did not go the "found footage" route, but came up with a story that could be told with minimal cost, but still provide suspense and excitement.
The two unknown, at least to me, were excellent and were a great asset to the film. This one is right up there with "El Mariachi" for brilliant low-budget filmmaking.
