Review of Open Water 2: Adrift (2006) by Fabiola P — 14 Sep 2007

If I would have judged this movie for how stupid all its characters where, It would have gotten half a star... But if I judge it for acting and story, it gets this rating, 3 stars. To begin with, Im gonna start with the acting, it was good, none of the actors looked fake at all, and the story well it was different I guess, and I always enjoy different, offcourse it was the same idea as lots of movies, the being in a hard situation because of one of the characters mistakes, thinking of ways to solve it, and basically dying one by one.

I enjoyed the story and it didnt get me bored, therefore the thrid star, but I will be honest I was expecting a shark I guess, as we all do in these movies about man versus the ocean, and I was Quite surprised to see that, well, no shark is to be seen ever in the movie, I was kinda dissapointed about that, but offcourse, I understand that maybe they werent in a shark zone or something like that.

Moving on to another subject, the lack of stars my rating has is basically because I couldnt ignore the fact of how stupid the characters were in this movie, and how stupid some of them died I guess. To finish, I enjoyed the first one more, a bit more believable I guess.
