Review of Open Season (2006) by |?3.Kailey Doodle.?3| — 10 Nov 2008
Stereotypical animated movie made for kids. While some of it was funny, unlike most recent cartoons, this one is aimed directly at kids, with not really any in-jokes for adults. Also, the entire story unfolds exactly how countless other animated movies have. It was as if the creators looked up 'Animated Movie Making 101' on the internet and followed it to a T. Also, using such famous people for the voices make it hard to focus on the actual characters without thinking of the actors themselves and it's very distracting.
With those things said, there were still some pretty funny moments once in awhile, and the animation itself is top notch.
