People say that westerns are dead. But it's true westerns like this that keeps proving them wrong. This is a great movie, dialogue is fantastic, story is true, cinematography and settings are amazing.
Acting is top class!! So many great westerns since Unforgiven including T.V series - example being Deadwood, 3:10 to Yuma, Tombstone, Wyatt Earp, Seraphim Falls and most recently The Assassination of jesse James by the coward Robert Ford which for me is the best western ever!! But Open Range is a real beaut!!
