Review of Open Range (2003) by John D — 19 Sep 2010
One of the rare Westerns in the post-Unforgiven era. Amazing scenery and some great camerawork, compelling characters and a plot that nimbly avoids leaning too heavily on any single element. Solid, though it lingers a bit overall; could stand to lose fifteen minutes or so.
