A really good revenge western. i'm not a costner fan but even he couldn't ruin this film - not with robert duvall in it. it's about some cattlemen who run into some trouble with a rancher who owns the local lawman. they - duvall and costner - decide that something has to be done about the rancher after he threatens them and kills one of their men.
Good pacing; good tension building and good pay off.easily makes it onto my list of great westerns.
