Review of Open Grave (2013) by Foxradio2 — 22 Apr 2017

Although this movie has some interesting ideas, I felt it didn't manage to push them along, since this movie ended up having more questions than answers, like they felt they didn't need to explain a lot of things that were happening and why they were happening.

The film also seems to want to be very character driven, but this fails since the characters have the depth of a kiddie pool, with Sharlto Copley's character, who does seem to get a bit of backstory; but altogether it's a somewhat solid if not pretty average flick, which could have been much better than it was, I wouldn't hate to watch it again, but I'm certainly not going to actively seek it out.
