Review of Open Grave (2013) by Andrew K — 12 Dec 2013
Really great film that puts a different spin on the apocalyptic plague setting, instead of simply plastering gore and zombies everywhere. A cool mix of "Memento" and "28 Days Later" set in the beautiful Hungarian country-side.
It is a shame that great films like this, "Pontypool" and many other smaller plague-type films often get shuffled to the wayside for bigger budget travesties like "World War Z". If not for a few friends telling me to see this I may have never known about it.
