Review of Only You (1994) by Adam K — 11 Jun 2008
It is enjoyable and is a 'feel-good' film.
Stars Robert Downey Jr who plays a man who pretends to be the guy that a lady (who Marisa Tomei plays) is devoted to finding after being told by a psychic to look for a man named "Damon Bradley" who would be her soul mate, because he 'fell in love when he looked in her eyes"... but sooner or later the lady finds out he's a lie! She is shocked and feels helpless after travelling miles. As the lady further seeks for her lover, the man is by her side throughout her stressful journey for true love and tries to get her to realise that he may actually be the one. Marisa Tomei (did you know that when they met each other on set they were dating heehe, how romantic.
It made me cry, in fact I could only take peeks at the kissing scene cos it was so romantic and made me so emotional lol. After watching this film, I thought "ok, I have found a new favourite actor - rob" :D.
